depends if your manager can get the best out of him and if he plays him in his favoured position (the hole behind the front two). looks like the reason he handed in his transfer request was because he was being played on the wing and just wasn't enjoying his football. if he can regain the same sort of form he showed in 2004/05 you'll love him. doubt you'll be able to hang onto him for too long though... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> he had a couple of trials at other clubs while at AFCW, one with Chester City and according to our OS he had a deal with a conference club all but tied up before it fell through and he joined you instead.

 

btw, that slough lot aren't the nicest bunch of fans ever, are they...?

OK, lets get it straight, Sam Mazurek came from Chesham who are in our league. Matt Elverson is only filling in while Mark Cooper is injured. Rob Ursell is the only one to 'drop a division' for this season.

He wasn't likely to admit he's joined you for the money now was he??!! Seriously though, good player, and I'm sure he's joined thanks to him and Simon Lane getting on when they were involved with AFCW, rather than for financial gain.
