If you can't make Boreham Wood, don't forget the reserves are at home to Lords wood on Saturday at 3-00pm. Entrance usually £1. Refreshments will be available in the bar.

Also the Under18's are at home to our great rivals Dover on Sunday. Kick off will be at 11-00am.

Come along and be Entertained. Lets make it 3 wins this weekend.

Hopefully this week we'll actually find out something about the reserves game - who played and who scored. Unless there's something in todays ITG (haven't seen it yet) a week's gone by without any details of the game at Chatham emerging. I'm sure plenty of us would like to see match reports and details.

I'll second that JT.

Keeps the interest in the whole of the club up.

Maybe someone will be going to HDP tomorrow and would be brilliant if post match, they could be kind enough to put something about who played on the forum, and if there were any 'shining stars'

In fairness, i think earlier in week, the club did post the reserve and U18 fixtures for this month.

Thats a start i guess.

In all seriousness, i woulhave though as part of his terms of employment, MW should have to give a brief report of each match that can be circulated to the customers (fans).Obviously he will report to RT as to what happens, but the customers would like to know a bit aswell please.

Would,nt it be fabulous if a crowd of 100 could be attracted to reserve games. Not impossible .

Maybe it could be 'kick started ' by targeting a specific game where everyone made a special effort to go to a reserve match?

What about the Deal Town floodlit game later this month

I quite agree it is really not worth the chance of getting a injury to any of our first team in a cup game that means very little, even if it is against ramsgate i say give the reserves and the young lads chance.

With families etc there is usually around 60 in the crowd.

Spoke to Ken about fixtures being posted at Walton. He was as good as his word and they appeared. What he did say though was especially the U18's fixtures are very fluid, so posting more than a month in advance is futile.

I will ask for a team sheet this afternoon, because of work i will give it to Alan to post.

I believe MW said there was going to be a link put on site today hopefully. I too went along to the game and was pleasantly surprised to see the good passing football played by the reserves. Our first goal was scored by the No 7 who looked sharp throughout the game, skinning their defence on numerous occasions. The No 11 on the other wing also played well with a sweet left foot on him. Dave Cory didnt stop running up front but just lacked the clinical finish. He was supported up front by Nick Bagley who showed some excellent touches but was booked for kicking away the ball & then subbed by MW, with the sub scoring the 2nd with an excellent shot intop the top corner of net from a tight angle. Tom Hickman in midfield & Luke Williams at the back also played well as did the young goalie (maybe U18's?)who called well for the ball as & when needed. Sorry no names for some of them but, as I said, hopefully team & report will be up on web later.
