Congratulations to Rayleigh Town for winning the Annual Charity Champions of Champions Shield Match last evening. Rayleigh Town beat the champions of the Sceptre League, Old Island Boys, 4 - 2 at Bowers & Pitsea Football Club.

Rayleigh were 1 nil down after 10 minutes but levelled just before half-time. They then scored 3 goals in the opening 30 minutes of the second half to lead 4 - 1. Old Island Boys pulled a goal back with 10 minutes remaining, but it was not enough to prevent Rayleigh Town taking this seasons Charity Shield.

No, just two mate....he should have had more though! Kempy notched and a quality o-g after good work from Hodgey!!

Considering we had no Buzz, Scholsey, Muzza and Lakey...it was a good result!
