There should be uproar if the result at Harlow stops SLough getting promoted this season.

From looking at the Ryman League site, the match was abandoned in the 81st minute with Harlow Town trailing bottom club Hertford Town

2-0. I sincerely hope the result will stand because if Harlow get to replay this match and pick up three points I think it will enrage all the teams in the promotion race.

I don't know for what reason it was abandoned, but if it was because of weather, it really should not have been called off with such little time remaining. I'm looking forward to hearing what the excuse is for this.

Otherewise the results have gone Slough's way for the second match day running, we're now only six points from second placed Hornchurch, with a game in hand. We can still do this Slough. Come on you rebels!

I think all the results for the sides above us went in our favour. Obviously someone was going to pick up points in the 1st vs 2nd clash (547 crowd there), but with Hornchurch, Wealdstone, Harlow (should definitely be) Tilbury and Hemel all dropping points, it was a good day to pick up max points.

Given the floodlight failure was so late in the game for the Harlow game, I'd expect the league will let the result stand. I think the cut off would have been 75 minutes for it, but could be wrong. Result should defo stand (Hertford were winning 2-0)

So, the one off 542 attendance you had with a family day is going to be repeated then or are you going back to your 200 odd crowds again?

Even your guys had admitted you were disappointed with that figure and with the attendances so far, not getting ready to pull the plug already surely? More to the point, what are the plans with the stadium and when is the running track being removed? That surely would help boost attendances...

we were disappointed with the 550ish but that tells you how far we've come...two years ago we were happy with 50...sad really...what's a family day admin...you mean a normal day marketed properly...don't be naive...we took a lot of money yesterday admin and donated half of it to charity...how many clubs have done that...when did you last do it...could you afford to....we will sell our product every week and our attendances will increase...qnd we will continue to support the community and the athletics club...we have no intention of building on the track...we are going to help the athletics club relay it...they are important to the community as well....you lot live in the past...you carry on about loyal fans etc etc... blah blah blah...get real admin...we 'ALL' supply entertainment and if people want to watch it...they will...all the old tribalistic stuff is old hat...yes there are 'loyal fans' but sadly, at our level...there's not enough of 'em to enable any club to survive...I know you all mean well but you are wrong...don't knock the urchins...watch us and learn....if you care for your club that is....the stick we get just drives us on....our club is correctly financed and managed by professionals..wonder who'll get the first invite into the breakaway conference....???? well done...good couple of results.

Admittedly we've not done a family day to my knowledge in the past few years but is certainly something we would look at doing because as you've proved it can be a success and generate income for both club and community.

We donated £1,000 to a local charity last year after a sponsored walk which ten of us participated on and plan to do a similar thing again although most likely next season depending on fixtures....

It's extremely odd to see a club give half their gate receipts to charity, so well done to them. And they're right, we probably couldn't have done that as we need the money.

As for attendances, it's a shame we weren't at home yesterday because I would have loved to see a huge league crowd. Remember Maidenhead at Easter the season before last where we had 750? (admittedly that was a local derby). Bank holidays are a great source of income for the home side.

one more thing, I've seen that in league games, Yeading average a crowd of about 50. Yesterday 251 watched Yeading v Slough and I'm curious, how many Rebels travelled? Was it mostly Yeading fans?
