The seating looks very impressive, and certainly tidies up that end of the ground.

If I have one reservation, it is for the people who sit there to wrap up warm on those foul winter nights when the rain and sleet is slashing down in a westerly or south-westerly gale.

The roof certainly doesn't APPEAR to afford much protection, unless the weather is from behind the stand.

One good thing about supporting a poorly attended club, is that whatever the weather there is always plenty of choice where to stand / sit.

 

Surely if it starts raining, people could just move to the standing area behind the seats, isn't that right MikeFleet and Harry.

It's just a pity the safety people wouldn't allow 2 or 3 rows of newly concreted standing terrace at the front with the seating at the back.

From the photos there appears to be sufficient height at the back.

Never mind it may only be for about 3 years.

It would have to gain a fire certificate. They're not just going to allow people to start using it.

That's exactly what I was thinking Harry. As these visits presumably have to be booked in advance, I would be surprised if we have already had the inspection and been given the ok.

Hopefully, it shouldn't be too long.

Maybe Dave H has some information on when the stand is likely to be available.

Bring a screwdriver and perhaps you could temporarily remove your seat for the duration of the game, as long as you pop it back in afterwards.
