Is anyone aware if the club will be issuing posters advertising there fixtures, like last season? Or has it been decided it was a bit of a Failure? I ask, as I was approached by my local Landlord last night.

Perhaps the club should do something along the lines of St. Albans City.

Pre-match posters are updated and available to print directly from their official website....seems like a bloody good idea to me?

I've done this one below (comments welcome if you think it's too cheesy!)... don't know how these will print out on home printers, but I'll post a link to A4 and A3 versions when they're finished. Am happy to update it every two games or whatever and post a new one for people to use.

Alternatively, if we could get someone to sponsor the printed cost, we could get several done for pubs, etc, and maybe even flyers. Prices I've sourced for example:

500 A4 posters: £125

500 A3 posters: £145

GLOSSY CARD PRINTING

1,000 A4 posters: £250

1,000 A5 flyers: £140

So if anyone knows a potential print sponsor (bear in mind these prices would be payable every two games to reprint), or anyone else wants to take on some printing, let me know!

Lol sorry!

Only a rough, this one, so not a problem! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

As Dave says, it will be available on the site from Monday. This one here isn't big enough to produce a decent print, so don't use it!

This poster is absolutely fantastic, very professional……the way forward…...

I realise I have gone over to the dark side but after yesterdays F.A cup draw I visited the Chelmsford city web site for a look around and directions to their ground before travelling down for the game on the 28th, I digress, they have an option where supporters can down-load and then print a poster advertising upcoming home games to pin up at work and in the pub. I know this has been discussed before, but wouldn't it be a great idea for the club to do this from the official web site so we can do the same. If the poster was just used as an advertising tool and even if it wasn't as professional as the one on this stream it would get the message across, wouldn't it?

Marketing, surely, is seeing a good idea and moulding it so it work for yourself, in this case, the Mighty Fleet.
