I think that is a brave thing for Jim to say.It shows his honesty and committment for wanting the best for the club.

There's no way he should go now.His loyalty to the club and the success he has achieved in the last five years means he deserves the full season to try to turn it round.

I personally believe we will at least make the play-offs.Jim will continue to make mistakes and have faults, but i believe he has a lot of good managerial qualities that by-and-large outweigh those faults.
And lets be certain we can get a better manager in before Jim ever leaves. Our experience in letting players go,in the belief that we could find better, must act as a warning not to take things for granted.

LS was that written by you or Alistair Campbell? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

Having the Yeti's full support is a vast weight for JC to have behind him! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laughuncontrollable.gif" alt="" />

It doesn't really make any difference to us who your manager is, but as Mr. Egginton said we secretly quite like Chandler being in charge. Enfield Town without JC doesn't seem right somehow.

Anyway just out of interest for those of us who won't vote on this how's the poll going?

Have EFC won anything since Mr egginton has been in charge at the club? In that time Mr Chandler has collected 7 senior honours including league titles, league cup titles, middlesex cups..ect (that, on probably a lower budget than any of Mr Eggintons previous managers)

Lets not forget that Chandler was the last of YOUR managers to defeat a league club in the FA cup. What would your chairman think are the chances of his current manager being able to take a team of limited ability and go away in the FA cup aganist a David Moyes led, high flying Championship outfit, and come away with a 0-0.Thats what Chandler did when we played Preston a few years back.

Chandler had presided over one of the longest runs of away games without defeat that any senior non-league club has ever achieved and until the end of last season ,was the only manager to preside over a club that had one honours in every year of its existance.

I don't think that this is the right thing to put on here as followers of a certain hertfordshire club will have their say (trouble making)along with others who have NOTHING to do with our club.

Why would Hoddesdon care about us?

I didn't mean one af Hertfordshires big clubs... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
