I don't think that this is the right thing to put on here as followers of a certain hertfordshire club will have their say (trouble making)along with others who have NOTHING to do with our club.

I think that is a brave thing for Jim to say.It shows his honesty and committment for wanting the best for the club.

There's no way he should go now.His loyalty to the club and the success he has achieved in the last five years means he deserves the full season to try to turn it round.

I personally believe we will at least make the play-offs.Jim will continue to make mistakes and have faults, but i believe he has a lot of good managerial qualities that by-and-large outweigh those faults.

And lets be certain we can get a better manager in before Jim ever leaves. Our experience in letting players go,in the belief that we could find better, must act as a warning not to take things for granted.

I disagree. This is a fans forum and we are all entitled to have our say. I think you'll find that most Es fans couldn't care less what goes on our forum. Some of our fans seem to be more keen to go on theirs. This poll will never reflect the opinions of all ETFC fans. It is a straw poll that will just see what the opinion is of some fans who use this forum.

Correct me if i'm wrong guys and i'm a football fan in general and nothing to do with EFC

But hasn't Jim Chandler been a success in his time at the club, getting you estabilised and out of the ESL and probably punching a bit above your weight last season.

Just because you have started slowly doesn't mean things won't improve

Blimey you fans can be so fickle sometimes.

It has nothing to do with this seasons start but more to do with some peoples view of him inspite of all the success that he has achieved for us. If some of them took the time to speak to Jim then they might change their views but i doubt it.

I don't consider we were punching above our weight last season. We were entering into the unknown but as soon as we saw the standard of football in the SLE we realised that we should do well. The reason for the criticism aimed at Jim relates to the tactics used towards the end of the season and the way certain players were or were not picked. We have had a poor start but lets hope Jim can turn things around.
