Right you lot

Halifax is ok but if you want to "dump" someone ( ie family) - can i suggest Hebden Bridge - about 4 miles away- very picturesque- not overrun by traffic and a bit quaint- surrounded by the pennine hills and on a pleasant day - which is forecast a very nice couple of hours mooching around can be had-

iF You havent been to the shay before- you will get a surprise as one stand is unfinished and has been that way for at least 4 years- no one it seems can be bothered to either stump up the cash or resume work- a real long running white elephant.

theres not much parking around but

the other 3 sides are ok - terraces with good views behind he goals and a reasonable sized stand down the other side- which is where Mr Webster and i will be to bring you the commentary on BBC Radio Kents website .-

Although it was the season before last, I hope we don't get Amy Rayner again as we did at this same fixture. An appalling performance by an official, by someone who was out of her depth. So far she has only refereed one game this season; Cambridge Utd v Northwich Vics, the latter winning 1-0 at the start of the season.

Here's hoping.

Ahoy there Sth_London_Fleet.

Unfortunately this member of the Fleet London Branch won't be in attendance on Saturday, due to unavoidable circumstances. But the London branches previous visits to the Shay have been very enjoyable off the pitch, if what something of a disappointment on the green stuff.

We have also visited the 3 pigeons for a few hours prior to games and had no hassle, in fact the opposite. Good quality beer and friendly banter.. Halifax is also the only place with candy floss on sale in the away end. The away terrace is plentiful and our few punters I am sure will look lost in it as we normally do.

well done for keeping the Fleet London flag flying and see you at the home game on Tuesday.

cheers and good luck
