The fourth Stortford goal resulted from a hopeful ball down the right flank which, with amazing dexterity and no little skill, the linesman somehow managed to prevent going out of play and flick on to the onrushing winger. Quite breathtaking, and drew the biggest round of applause all night from the Stortford fans.

 

In the bar afterwards Elliot Styles was gutted, since it was he who was detailed to man mark said official, only to be drawn out of position by a Stortford player who was actually on the pitch!

No - the shot (from their number 8) went just wide when the linesman played it back.

 

The fourth goal was the incredible 40 yard punt which completely caught the keeper out of position.
