Defence seems to be their problem at the mo. Scoring plenty of goals but conceding far too many. Apparently they capitulated big time against Basilricay the other week after being 2-0 ahead.

 

Apparantly Noto and Minton have stood out and Hallett has bagged a few.

Agreed. Jeff King put this club on the map and without him, it would still be in the Essex Senior League - let nobody be under any illusion about that.

 

I wish Chelmsford all the very best and want them to do well as I really do like so many of the ex Canvey players now over there.

 

No point in being bitter about anything now, Canvey are on the up again and what is past is past.

well when you see other managers at other grounds that mean they are full time jeff has jobs to do other than the club(at the time)so it made it hard for him!! anyway he had and still has one of the best scouts with him so if he had the time it would of been a waste of time anyway.

Yeah, thats right. Lets not have a go at Kingy. Lets just kiss his ar*e again for making us drop down 3 leagues. Yeah, coz we would never have got that far without him and we also wouldn't be playing Ryman league football again if it wasn't for him too. You lot just kiss his ar*e even know he almost ripped this club apart and it was the fans who saved it again.

 

Would you do that to a thief if he nicked your wallet and stabbed you in the back and then gave the wallet back again?

 

I honestly as a supporter of 13 years and a lot longer than most of you, do not understand what you have to be grateful to him for anymore if he took it away (all for more money) as quickly as we got it. As a very loyal supporter, I do not care for the reasons you give if they are just to praise him for ruining our climb through the leagues. You obviously love being fu*ked over coz i cant see it any other way.
