Defeat thanks to the linesman and ref

Not Mr P Gascoine, I witnessed him a couple of times last season, for someone that is a rules and regulations man Im surprised he got this one so wrong.HOW VERY DARE HE.

Ref made a mistake. should of had the kick retaken. Who is to say the Edgware player would of scored the retake. Did any Edgware players make mistakes last night. It is gone there is nothing yu can do about it. Just concentrate on your next game. There will be plenty of decisions that go your way during the season which I am certain you will not complain about. Get on with it and stop biting !

The three officials last night were right moody gits, normally they come in the clubhouse have a chat and a cup of tea, not not these three, they thought they were too high and mighty for that. The linesman who overuled the penalty gave us some mouth for getting behind the team, whereas noramlly you can have some banter with them.

Still when the crowd was telling him to f cuk off and I called him a cannt, he was squirming, also at the end a member of the public had to be held back from attacking the official, had he not been held back he would have taken the linesman's head off. I waited till they walked back to the dressing room and then put the airhorn in the ref and linesmans ears, I am sure they enjoyed that.

Classic of the night was the officials coming into the clubhouse and then the whole Edgware team leaving en masse.

So where did I stick up for them then Gav ?

My point is that officials make as many mistake as players and you say they are there to do a job well so are the players. Nothing will change the result from last night so you just have to get on with it and forget about it. As for the bloke being held back that just makes your club out in a bad light which is a shame because you give it such a good name ! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
