The stadium holds about 3,500, and along with Grays Athletic's Recreation Ground, is the smallest in the Conference.

5,117 actually, and this will increase slightly once the seats are completed.

If this is the case, how come the Notts County FA Cup tie, which was ALL TICKET, had an attendance of 2,998!!!

Didn't the club overestimate the interest, and restricted the number of tickets each fan could have until it was too late?

I know of one supporter wanted about 10 tickets and was told he could only have 4.

Next time it has to be season ticket holders first, then trust members and Fleet Leisyure members, then the general free for all, but in all cases no limits on numbers sold.

But we MUST fill the ground if we get a good tie.

No the club were going to sell any number of tickets until the whinging on here got so loud, the club agreed to restrict the tickets to 4 per person.

I think they would probably do season ticket holders first but I'm not too sure if they would do the follow on from that, giving precedent to Trust Members over the general public. It's a good idea and perhaps I'm wrong but I just don't think they would do it like that.

I have to admit I was not one of those bleating.

I was aware that there was a 4 ticket restriction in place, but I cannot remember being aware that was instigated by supporters on here.

It still seems strange that the club reacted so promptly in response to opinion on this forum, especially when it must have known they would be unlikely to sell all 4100 tickets.

Hopefully we have all learned from that experiemce that is better to sell out early than not to sell out at all
