Why do you think that is a choice of lifestyle when cleverer people than you state that it is not but more developmental.

I refer to http://www.narth.com/docs/coll-harren.html

Or perhaps from a radical lesbians pov

http://www.lesbian.org/amy/essays/queer-choice.html

I particularly like the idea that if one has the "choice" to be gay then one also has the choice to be "catholic" "Jew" "Moslem" "Sikh" "Hindu" yet the government have legislated over religious tolerance but not "gay tolerance". Dont you find that this is a bit ehm hypocritical.

well steph is a girls name....so which are you <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

He was a ......... "shirtlifter"!

His sexuality was not a choice. How he expressed that sexuality was. Which are you referring to?

The fact he was a shirtlifter, I imagine would mean how he expressed it!

Steph.Whilst i totally agree in principal with your Born with rather than lifestyle theory.

Its interesting to note that a higher percentage of men who went to boarding school or same sex schools, define themselves as 'Homosexual' in orientation, than men who attended ordianary mixed sex schools.Which does indicate some form of enviromental or circumstantial factors could be in place for some.

Are you confusing "sexual hang ups" with "having a fetish"? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
