This will be only my second topic on the Slough board, apologies for not posting more often. I'm only a fairweather fan from Seattle.

 

What is the situation at the club regarding loans? I'm asking because Tooting and Mitcham just signed a striker on loan from Reading and he scored 4 on his debut in the cup against Cove.

 

Lower league stuff I know but shouldn't we be looking to tap Reading up for their juniors? Wycombe maybe?

 

I am also under the impression that most loans are paid for by the bigger team. If that is not the case can someone explain the in's and out's?

 

Also harking back to my earlier post, did anything ever happen with a youth team this year?

We did have a strong loan/work experience relationship with Brentford last season which ended when their manager, Martin Allen, moved on. I am sure we may look to add a couple of loans.
