05-06 Season Review DVD

Orders will be taken for the DVD tomorrow evening in the club shop. Price will be £15.00 and the DVD includes all the Slough Town goals from last season and footage from every first team match.

I can't be at the match tonight, it's the first rehearsal for the play I'm in about Brentford FC, "There'll Always Be a Brentford", but I'd like to order a DVD, I'll pick it up at the next home Saturday match.

(Gary speaking) - Don't know. I had it completed and then when I played it back, the sound was missing on a number of matches, but not from the original file which was used.

 

I would fully expect them to be ready for the next home game on the 23rd (if enough people order one (hint hint!)).

 

I've got some previously unseen video footage of Slough lifting the Bryco Cup from 04/05 to add in on it as well....

OK Ladies and Gents, crunch time. Thanks for those who've placed orders so far. If the orders don't reach a respectable number (we're on a pitiful nine at the moment) then I'm going to stop the filming I'm afraid as it's proving too costly.

 

I'd appreciate it if people could spread the word tomorrow about the DVD being available, I'll certainly be telling people on the coach, in an attempt to boost sales figures.

I'd like to thank everyone who has placed an order for a DVD, but sadly, low sales have meant that I will no longer be filming the matches. It was hoped this would be a money maker for the club, not so much from the individual DVD's, but from the end of season review discs, but given not even 10% of our fanbase was purchasing a disc, it was disappointing to say the least and not worth the time, effort or cost I had to put into it.

 

I'd like to thank those who've purchased individual match DVD's (mainly Radders!!) in the past and should someone wish to take this on, I will be passing the camera, tripod and some software which I used back to the club should someone step forward.

 

I will be working on a few different remaining projects of compiling some video footage I have obtained from various people around the club and these will be available in the club shop prior to Christmas.
