Does anyone know when we are playing Chatham Town in the FA Youth Cup?

 

On the FA website it says ties to be played w/c 11th September.

 

11th - is Charlton Reserves

12th - us vrs Grays

Something to ponder over.

 

We must be away or playing at Fleet Leisure?

 

Or maybe the FA have F....d up.

 

Would that be the first time?

The Chatham game is at home. The winners face Erith Town away in the next round, then after that Sevenoaks or Horley away, then another away game in the 3rd qualifying round if we get that far (Carshalton/Tonbridge/Lingfield or Bromley).It will obviously be a long haul for the lads and its always difficult to gauge standards at youth level, but , despite the away ties, one would hope they could make good progress in the competition this year.

Whats the tie date and kick off time assuming Stonebridge Road as the venue

The PASE Team normally played on a Wednesday last season, I believe - the Kent Youth League website suggests Monday as the date, but that may well be because the game has to be played Week commencing 11th. The FA Website says games will ko at 7pm unless otherwise agreed between the clubs.

 

Home fixtures werent played at Stonebridge Road last season and my guess would be that games will only be played there if we were to draw a league teams Youth side later in the competition (I recall giving a decent looking Spurs team a good game a few years ago).

 

 

I am not "in the know" though, so wll need to rely on someone else to confirm details!

Last season we did play youth cup games at Stonebridge Road. We beat Dartford 6-0 or 6-1.. The Chatham game is home

The game against Chatham is on Thursday 14th September...7:45pm Kick off.

We won 9-0 tonight...looked a class above Chatham and John Akinde certainly looked good. Certainly has improved from what I saw of him last season. About 80 or so fans turned out to watch the game. Away to Eirth and Belverdere in the next round.

Away to Sevenoaks - they beat Horley on Monday 4-2

Sevenoaks actually get a bye in the next round as they were due to play Crawley, who scratched from the competition.
