Town Hall meeting wed 6th sept

dear all, if you can turn up to a meeting at the town hall this wednesday ...the Football club has been called in by the labour group..for those independants that said they would back to return of the club back to Slough..lets see if they back the labour group... we will see..

 

the meetings starts at 7pm but a few issues before the football club question ...so if you can make an effort it will be appreciated...

 

those attending please wear your slough shirts and I will have some red cards to be shown if no answers from mr stokes and co...

 

beware it may not even get to hearing about the club as the last meeting was ajoured by the council leader as the question got a bit hard for them to answer....

 

however a show of club colours will show we are still around

Would it make sense for those who do show up to 'behave impeccably' as well given the events at the last meeting? Those in power don't like us as it is, so I don't think they need any more ammunition to prevent us returning to Slough!!

all i know Bernard has not been about for one reason or another...and Roy has had difficulty in getting in touch with him...

I have told you on the rumours I have heard....

Roy is trying to run the club on his own - martyn deaner -pays the wages and tries to keep the club above the water line...he does not get the information from martyn deaner ..so he can not report anything ..thats why you don't get the communication...

 

I am not saying this is right !

 

 

 

The club (ROY) says nothing because he has no answers....!!!!

 

 

Now if you want answers I suggest you go to see Martyn Deaner yourself...and see how far you get...

 

but please dont tell me to get off your back anymore because all your doing is hacking off people who are trying to keep the club going ..under stress and circumstances beyond their control ....

Well stop defending them then. I have every right to criticise the way this club is being run and shall continue to do it, and no amount of bullying on your part or telling me to keep my mouth shut is going to change that. Face facts - the longer the rabble in charge of the club stays in charge, the more the fan base is going to erode away to nothing and I am quite prepared to sit here and watch it do just that. After all, sitting there and doing nothing is precisely what the club has been doing for the last ten years

Liam i am defending the club (your club) it really is quite boring hearing you rant and rave and getting personal .....things are not right .... how can we change things ?

 

when we dont own the club and we dont have the money to run a club of this size..

Mr 'I'm too scared to put a name to my post' Anonymous - I'm not clever you're right. I'm not a NEG.HEAD either (whatever that means), I'm just a realist. The club HAS been run poorly (chartered flights, company cars, James Lambert's wages vs. being unable to pay the rent at Wexham Park), the club DOESN'T see fit to communicate to its fans decisions which will ultimately affect them (countless fans of other clubs coming and telling us that they'd signed one of our players before a statement from the club had even been prepared), the club DOESN'T want help from its fans to aid with the running of the club (I'm know there are people who have offered to help and have been knocked back). So tell what's negative and what's real? Who's lobbying the council over the stadium? the Trust, who ultimately have no say in the stadium plan whatsoever (if it should even get off the ground). I'm not telling you anything you don't already know...

 

Chris - I've said before that I am quite prepared to chip in for the club if it was run by the trust, and if that means folding the present version and restarting further down the pyramid then so be it.
