Town game this week

[Southport - TOWNER]

Enfield Town have taken the opportunity of a free midweek to arrange a

friendly against Dagenham & Redbridge. The game will take place at

Dagenham's Victoria Road ground this Wednesday 6th September and gives Jim

Chandler an opportunity to work on turning round the sides recent run of form.

The match kicks off at 7.45pm

Does that mean Thursday's reserve game is off?

I think its the first team squad and possible formations that Jim needs to look at,rather than any reserve players.

Must be beneath them to turn out as a reserve.

What would be the point of going to the trouble and expense of establishing a reserve team, for reasons that have been well rehearsed here, then to play the first team in the reserve league?

 

And I thought pre-season friendlies were for trying out formations etc?

I am not sure if my usual sources are going to this so I would be grateful if someone could do me a favour for the stats pages....

 

Can someone please post our team, and subs on /off, plus any goalscorers for us. I only keep these basic stats for friendlies but need them anyway....

Well done to the lads - We won 1-3. It sounds like they did pretty well against Dagenham & Redbridge according to Ciaran's report on the website.
