Spursman
Sad to hear that. His shows were always entertaining and enjoyable. Leaves behind two small children too.

The Great Eckscape
It was always on the cards to be honest doing what he does! Never had much time for the bloke but would never wish that on him. Dangling he baby in front of a crocodile was hardly the actions of a sane person. Still, the 44 years of life he did have must have been pretty exilerating!

He was a conservationist and founded Zoo Australia, one of the biggest zoos they have in the country apparently. He did a lot of work for the enviroment as well and brought the problems of conservation to the attention of the general public via the media. Sounds like you are as knowledgable on this subject as you are with music eh Ken?
ken
he created a generation of people who dont have the ability to leave nature alone. and have to jump on every animal they find. i will agree that he did do some good but that doesnt stop him being killed by a fish being very ironic and there for funny plus as far as music goes, if you see how much i get paid to DJ my taste must be OK, im just willing to try new things rather than get stuck in my ways re hashing music from 40 years ago
Spursman
Did you deliberately post regarding Steve Irwin (on a football site?) to cause an argument here? You must be very bored indoors? Seems that sooner they get that cast off your leg and you can get out and about again the better for everyone eh? So you think it is funny that a man with small children died in such a tragic way do you? That comment says more about you than anything to be honest and it is truly sad that through your comments and stupid puerile pictures that you choose to glorify his death for your own amusement. Pathetic... As far as your comment regarding DJing - am I supposed to be impressed that you get up and play sh*t for a bunch of tw*ts who wouldn't know good music if it got up and hit them in the face? So you get paid good money for it, well good for you mate because they couldn't pay me enough to have to listen to that sort of rubbish on a good day. I kid you not. The 40 year old music (your words) I listen to has stood the test of time and that is why people still want to hear it today. I will have a little bet with you that the sort of sh*t you play now will be long forgotten in 40 years time and that is a fact. By the way Moderator, I have replied to it but does this thread really have any place on a Canvey Island FC forum? If not, perhaps it might be a good idea to close it (once Kenny has replied of course) or erase it altogether.

ken
I posted it because i thought it was interesting, i added the photos because they ARE funny. you may not find death funny, that is up to you, i do. i laughed at jokes told at my own fathers funeral, i laughed at jokes about other Celebes dieing. i will especially laugh when a man nicknamed 'The Crocodile Hunter' is killed by a fish. i find irony very very funny. if you don’t then leave the thread alone. as far as his kids go, it is very sad and if they read this site i send my apologies. but don’t get on your high and mighty when a man who takes risks like he does and is paid handsomely for it dies through one of those risks. this may not be a football comment but either are most of the posts on here, it is a forum for Canvey fans and not a forum about canvey fc. if you don’t like it don’t open it again. as far as the music goes, just because you have limited yourself to one type of music don’t expect others to. my collection consists of over 3000 records and about 5000 cd's consisting of every type of music. if you haven’t found the good in a type of music then maybe consider you haven’t listed to the good stuff in it. Lot of [****!!****] around in the 60's or in rock that doesn’t make every type bad. there is an amazing amount of [****!!****] in techno (to take one of the music types you have a go at) but there is some phenomenal music that is pushing the boundaries and creating the sounds of the future. just because you don’t know it doesn’t t mean its bad. i only judged music i know you jumped on a bandwagon with an uniformed judgement. now next time you want to moan do it about something you know about, obviously i could be wrong, so please feel free to list 5 technmo songs that you have judged and i will tell you what you should be listening to
Canvey Fan 1926
why is it that everything anyone posts on here, now starts an argument? yes friendly banter is fine, but why do people have to make enemies inside there teams support? just because someone likes different music to you, does that mean you have to start <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bootyshake.gif" alt="" /> about them? i opened a simple thread to do with match-day music requests, and even that started a web-fight. what has happened these past few days, this forum didnt used to be like this?!?! Benny
Ken, some people do find these pictures amusing whereas others dont. Every time someone famous passes away there is at least half a dozen joke emails flying around within days. I suggest in future leaving these photos and jokes off of this site. This isn't to say you're wrong or i think you've been stupid in any way, just think that maybe you should think about what you post. Congrats on the CD collection, that must be a world record!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had to deal with enough death in my lifetime to consider it uxtremely unfunny I am afraid. As far as criticising your music, I have heard enough of this rubbish to make an informed judgement (that it is un-listenable) and I cannot understand how anybody would want to even be in the vicinity when it is on. Do not try to patronise me Ken, you were the one who made snide remarks about my choices of music on the other thread but you don't like it when somebody does the same to you do you? Tough... Tough... i too have had an awful amount of death in my life, that is why i can see the funny side. hell it is the only garenteed thing in life. once again about the music you dont know what you are talking about, they dont play good dance music on the radio, you have to go to specialist places to hear it. i also only slagged off one song which you didnt even suggest and the judgement against it is a very very commen judgement on what is basicaly a comedy record. there was losts of music in your list that was great Bubba O'Reily - The Who Little Wing - Jimi Hendrix White Rabbit - Jefferson Airplane Trust Me - Janis Joplin i can take critisism i just object when people with no knowledge take on a subject they know nothing about. Benny
Ken, having knowledge of music isn't really that hard. Anyone could memorise an artist and what songs they have produced once hearing them. People like different music and have different tastes so agree to disagree. ken
i agree, i just object when people catigarize a type of music becuase they have heard a little bit. i have misic i love from every style. i generaly as a rule dislike modern r&b and urban but madam sovrin i really like for some reason. i genurally dont like rock but absolutely love def lepard (who are terrible). people slag of techno but havent heard some of the beutiful music out there. aphex twin, square pusher, jon hopkins, philip glass, sklum to name but a few. they hurd two unlimited on the radio and think thats it. when techno converged with electronica in the late 90's some of the most beautiful music ever made in human existance was created. i only ever slag off music i know and hate. on Canvey Loons list he lists the verve, i hate them with a pashion, but i can understand why people like them, same with bands like oasis, radiohead, coldplay, robie williams, nina simone, elvis.
