Excellent result for your boys on Saturday in that if you're serious about making a title challenge, that was the one to win.....defeat would have fu<k3d it. We Bedford also had a top one,....picture it if you will, it's worth it:-

 

1.50am Friday 20th December location Bedford it was declared the Kingstonian game co-incided with Mexican bandit dressing up day. Game on.

 

12.00pm Saturday 21st December location Bedford Mexican bandit day is officially scrapped and has become Hawiian beach party day. Tell 8 of the nine martyrs and leave the ninth looking like 'El Gwapo' whilst the rest of us are getting on a beach boy thing.

 

12.45pm Bedford grab inflatable 8foot dolphin, shades, towels, stereo, beach boys cd.others do the same and off we go...Ave it.

 

3.10pm stuck on Motorway

 

3.30pm stuck on motorway

 

3.42pm get to game dressed to kill......

 

3.43pm find out were losing 2-0 and looking like 4-5

 

3.46pm Sitting in clubhouse having beer, Sky phone up for the score, were the only ones in there and matey behind the bar asks us, we reply 1-0 Bedford, Up on Sky Sports it goes.Anyone notice it????hehehe

 

3.50pm enter the away goal stand to Surfin' USA, brandishing Pineapples and Dolphins sing for 50 minutes get the 40 or so other miserable buggers going behind the goal (150 or so weird sidestand types are understandably better off left alone), get our team on a mission and put 2 past them. Best 45 minutes of a fair number of Bedford fans.

Sound's good, although I'm surprised the stewards didn't lob you out, it's against K's rules to have fun.

 

I did like the Sky Sports bit - Lots of firm points to anyone who does that for City this season, although you have to say we're winning 7-0 so they print the word seven after the score.

 

Only down side on your trip - sitting on the motorway in a car suggests at least one of you wasn't drinking - boozy train journeys are the only thing that makes this leauge bearable.

 

We well may nick your idea but we will claim we did it first in 1999 or something <img src="/forums/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" /> Nice one Bedford!
