I could tell you about Herne Bay reserves beating Tilbury reserves 2-0, but I suspect no-one would give a sh1t!!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Mornin' mate!! I was at the above fixture watching the lad. However I have been reliably informed that Dunstable Town deserved their victory and played the better football. A shame but we move on.

 

I bet there are a few Romfordians with hangovers this morning!!

Nah mate, I'll be all footied out by then.

 

Herne Bay yesterday, Bowers today (Joe's playing for Bowers' Sports and Social) & Tilbury tomorrow (Res game v Tunbridge Wells).

 

Gotta leave now for a 10:30 ko. Laters!!!!

I was very hopeful of this game being a 0-0 draw at least, as Bowers & P put up a very good performance and were certainly a match for Dunstable Town . The Bowers keeper was busy, very competent and made a couple of brilliant saves but that still doesn't make me think that DT were better... and what a lovely atmosphere Barry Hubbard has created at the club now, a pleasure to visit !

Nice words Mr Chairman. I agree Barry has done wonders and always makes visitors welcome. He has some excellent support from his committee, without whom etc etc. As is the case at many clubs I'm sure.

 

Not sure you should have said all that about Smallsy though (The keeper) there'll be no living with him now. Not that I live with him you understand..... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />
