Shamsgate lost (again), la, la la, la la! Every week I get asked how Margate get on. This morning it felt good to tell them that Margate are top of the league and Shamsgate a lowly 15th!

Given how far they have come in the last couple of seasons there comes a point when you reach your level and every game is a toughy.

 

I am sure they will be happy just to consolidate this season and keep out of danger. That means of course that they win a few and lose a few! Still think they will give us a good game shortly in the Westview Cup!

I agree Rob. We beat Heybridge comfortably enough and got a draw at Wimbledon and only lost to a late goal at Bromley. Tonbridge are second in the league only to the bluenoses who are spending money they don't have. We'll be all right, starting with more Essex boys on Tuesday and Saturday.
