Man of the Match vs Chelmsford

It's a tough one this week, but what an enjoyable dilemma!

I would have gone for Jackson had he not blazed over the bar towards the end. Also thought Wild for great defending and a goal (it was him wasn't it?), but then he dallied on the ball and let himself get robbed that time. SCS great as always (in front of his mum). Hockton for tireless and unselfish work right through to the end. Protheroe master of the midfield. Skinner had the better of his man nearly every time. And so on.

Can we have 11 votes please?

Absolutely agree - 11 great performances, I'll give my vote to Abbott as it's the best game I've seen him play, he seemed to be winning loads of ball and he got his first goal of the season.

... It's a hard choice, I know, but this weeks man of the match poll is now availible at http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/margatefcphotos/prev.htm
Will be interesting to see who comes out on top.

NOTE: New Rule, a player must be on the pitch for more than 25 minutes before they can be added to the entrants for man of the match.

He wouldnt have got my vote anyway MM. Too many 90 minute wonders out there today for him to get an inclusion even if he had stayed on the field. Pity that, as immediately before that I was praising him up(MM will vouch for that) with his tough tackling. If he continues to do that he will be an asset in my eyes but if he does get stuck in he has to control himself as contact will be made everytime.

Such a difficult choice, I think I will go for Wild as it was his first big game, but all did well, Hockton scored and set up a goal, Pinnock and Abbott impressed, can't fault any of the starting 11.

Also, with Wild playing well, it seems he could be the cover for Trott and Donovan we were looking for.

Everyone gets a ten out of ten from me today.

Wild would have had a 10.5 apart from when as above midway through second half he thought he had become Ronaldino.
Still give Wild m of m,but 11 great performances` today

I only saw Wild give the ball away once all game & immediately he retrieved the situation with a timely interception having got back at pace to rectify the situation.Must have been that time MM.You obviously missed his retrieval.

Surprised Skinner hasnt got any votes yet. He was superb. But as others have said its a hard choice. I dont think any player who gets less votes than others whether it be 1 less or 8 less should be ashamed of their input yesterday. Donovan also with no votes played a much much better game alongside Wild. Wild did the forward approaches while Donovan stayed put & became the anchor man.

Worked well I thought.Well, obviously it did!
