Steve Baldwin was a decent solid player,but hardly a world beater.If we are craving to have the likes of Steve back at the club,something is wrong.We've got rid of the ESL players in order to progress.It seems that we are finding it hard to replace them with better players.Or were we just under estimating the original ESL team?

Steve is not the answer to all our problems but to consider him an ESL player is an insult. He can compete well at this level and last season on the few times we played him and Woodward on the left we looked very dangerous. Steve was gutted to leave the club but kept getting good performances rewarded with being dropped. On another thread someone commented that we want players to give 120%. He always did. Mind you, couldn't shoot to save his life though!
