One word.JOKE.Apart from Dell/Jarvis[even tho fourth goal was jamies fault]we were a joke. The middle of the park was won by bromley from start=finish.A plus for me was dell who made some great runs, and his crossing was very good. But again, who was in the box for them. Our FORWARDS were again poor. How about playing g up there?

Oh christ!

Both of you have your rights! You just have different approaches-

But (and im NOT siding here)

Some people may grumble and lob a bit of abuse out- but Ive seen fans react a LOT worse to a poor performance.

Im sure it'll get better- it has to. I have faith in Eddie as a manager and as Cousins and i were chatting about today, we have good players, it was the 'teamwork' that didnt happen today. I bet we have a blinding match against AFC- mainly because i cant make it. [****!!****].. Dom did you get me a proggy?

If we don't get anything from are next two games i think we could be in very big trouble with where we are in the league and the crowds at home. As i said to a few people today Eddie really needs to change the formation and maybe drop a few player's, try a different two upfront but i just dont see it happening the only change i can see happening on tuesday is daly coming in for someone.i think in are squad we do have some half decent players in there own way is just they can't gel as a team at the mo but i think it will work soon.

Although I do agree with a good number of Liam's comments I would just add that I thought Dell and Woody did ok and that the other 2 subs didn't really have time to make an impact. Apart from that the rest looked totally crap, without a care in the world. The amount of challenges that G, Mase, Glynn and even Alexis pulled out of was not even funny.

I never thought I'd say this, but as discussed by some at the game today, if Daly isn't playing there is only one man who should be captaining that side and it is Jamie Jarvis. Whatever anyone says he is a natural leader and is proving himself to more and more people as the games go by. As some of us said today it seems like he would be captain but the management are scared of how the fans would react. Well, if they are reading this I have to tell you that at this stage I think the majority of fans would welcome it.

With tough games this week against AFC and Tonbridge we are into another period of 'where is the next win coming from?' and it is worrying even at this early stage.

Going back to what was said on the terraces today, as Marcus says both arguments and the people involved have their rights. While I can see what Chris is saying about the negative comments, after the way we conceded those first two goals I do struggle to see how else we are supposed to react. In the second half, Chris didn't want to stand behind the goal but I asked him to and told him that we would get behind the team from the off and see how we got on. I think we did that and for the first 15 minutes of the half we did ok. Even when they scored their 3rd and 4th goals the crowd remained calm. It was down to the way we conceded those first two goals NOT the fact we had conceded them, that really incensed me and I'm sure many others.

That should be the team and that is surely what we were planning for in preseason.

We were piss poor today. How many shots did we actually muster? We had nothing going forward and it looked to me that most of the players couldn't give a rats [****!!****].

So far the only plus points this season have been Woody's improvement and Jarvis' performances at the back.

There was one moment in the second half were we just knocking the ball around on the edge of the area for 10 or 15 seconds without even thinking of hitting a shot.

We as fans need something to spark off - a spell of pressure, a succession of corners or heaven forbid a shot on goal that forces the keeper into a save. I could have played in goal for Bromley today and kept a clean sheet.

I don't want to see this team slide down the leagues into obscurity where a bunch of die hards turn up week after week just out of habit.

More or less but continue playing that and more fans will stop coming and we will end up in the seventh tier or worse. Given that there is stony silence with regards to the future of the club and Martyn's plans it really is a depressing time.

We need a miracle - fingers crossed one of us wins a massive lottery jackpot.

Which is what I've been saying all along. I could ask Roy or Bernard but I doubt they know either - Bernard is just a figurehead as it isn't his money that pays the players. I'd make a bet that we will have attendances below the 200 mark before the end of the season

for my tuppence worth...

Agree that Dell looked good today... but it was worrying how many tackles we bottled/didn't attempt/ran away from

Matt Cousins and I were discussing his point at the game... on paper we should be a threatening side, but the team just don't appear to be playing as a team as of yet. Of course, its going to be difficult with such a mass exodus at the end of last season, but I can't see things improving until the basics like passing triangles (where the perosn with the ball has at least two/three people close around him to pass to) are implemented. The wingers also need support and in this league there are a lot of very tall centre backs (we've got two of the biggest), so hoofing the ball into the box isn't necessarily going to be able to work.

I will however keep the faith as I honestly believe that when the team know eachother better and know instinctively where their teammates will be, we will have more success.
