Town Show off!

Or should that be Enfield Town FC show offs?

Don't forget that the Enfield Town show is next weekend, 9 and 10 September when the ETFC Ladies will be in the Town Park on Saturday with the ETFC men's section there on Sunday.

As usual, the same people will be setting up and staying in the park all day to promote this 'supporters' owned club'. If you are a supporter or society member, then that means this is your club.

What are you doing next Sunday when this small band of individuals will be in the park?

Just being there and promoting the club to the many thousands of people who will walk past the football game will take the pressure off those who have been there on the last five occasions.

Just turn up from 8.30am if you have nothing else to do and spend a couple of hours talking football.

Calling everyone.

This matter does not revolve around people having to apologise/explain to me because they will not be able to assist next Sunday. I am merely a society member and supporter of ETFC.

Yes there are people who do spend time on the forum and could get down to assist. However, there are many more supporters who may not have access to the www but could help out.

There are even people who have access to the www, know that the Town Show will be on, yet will still not assist. But then that's life.....

The small team will be at the Town Show from 8.30am on Sunday. Setting up will start in readiness for the opening of the gates at 10.30am.

It is anticipated that some of the current first eleven will be at the Show from 3.00pm for a while hoping to win a goody bag at the target shooting competition.

There will also be the opportunity to name a horse and pay £5.00 towards club funds for the race night on 29 September.

It's annoying that I cant go when the Ladies section are running the stand on Saturday as I will be watching The Town and I cant go on Sunday when the Town are running the stand as I will be watching The Ladies team at home to Colchester United (2pm Brimsdown ), I am really disappointed about missing the town show!

Maybe we could ask the organisers to have the show on a Monday and Tuesday so that you can go!
