Potters Bar Town - I'm not entirely with you, I thought you might be interested that's all and it confirms that yesterday was the biggest game in your relatively short 46 year history.

I am aware it is the biggest game in the club's history so far. I said as much in the preview on our website. And where do you think our local paper gets its information from anyway?

 

I was actually questioning what the point was of reproducing a match preview on here AFTER the match has been played.

Well I thought that it was an interesting well written piece that was relevant to the topic being discussed at the time, I also didn't recall you mentioning on here that it was the biggest game in your history and hadn't been on your Website for sometime. It's obviously a touchy subject for you at the moment because you are out the cup having performed heroically yesterday and I sympathise.

Isn't this the SSML forum, Potters Bar Town aren't in the SSML therefore why should it be mentioned on this part of the forum. PBT is of course a welcome guest on the SSML forum but I guess he mentioned it in the appropriate part of the site.

Not with you there Lato old bean, who has decided that Potters Bar Town is a welcome guest on the SSML site, I'm not saying for one minute that he's not but in theory the SSML Forum is for SSML affiliated Club's and there is a Ryman Division 1 North Forum for Club's from that league to banter in. What is the attraction with this one anyway particularly if, as he keeps saying, I put new people/Club's off coming on which is absolute nonsense.

Firstly, there's no problem with you finding a piece interesting and well written but that doesn't mean everyone else wants to see it.

Secondly, I didn't say on here that it was the biggest game in our history. There was no particular need to.

Thirdly, why do you consider it a touchy subject? I am rightly proud of how the team played yesterday. I questioned you making a post using information that was already out of date. Nothing touchy about that. I've been questioning the wisdom of plenty of your posts on here for some time now.

Potters Bar Town - Well why do you swear by this particular Forum seeing as I seem to annoy you so much, I haven't noticed you get involved in any of the other Forums on this large site so I am a bit puzzled. You left the SSML when impressively winning the Premier division in 2004/2005 so as I said in theory there's no real reason why you should be involved.

Well, you don't look very hard, do you? I am level on points with Paula at the top end of the Ryman League prediction table (so close, you couldn't get a cigarette paper between us!) and I think I'm doing quite well in the Essex Senior League predictions although they don't seem to produce regular tables. That doesn't happen without actually posting on the relevant forums. I have also made a couple of posts on the AFC Hornchurch and Enfield Town forums recently and also had quite a bit of banter with the Margate folk before and after our cup tie there.

In any case, why is it any business of yours which forums I do or don't choose to post on?

By the way you are both more than welcome on the forum as far as I'm concerned. That also goes for Bob at Brook and the Camberley contingent, infact the more the merrier. Rhodes really should have a bigger audience - his posts are priceless (or is that worthless always get those two mixed up).

Potters Bar Town - Well I don't actually bother going into many other Forums so I wouldn't know, I was merely saying that I hadn't seen posts from you on any others, how come there isn't an individual one for Potters Bar Town.
