chalky boy that is rubbish,we weren't even allowed to stand in our usual place last time you lot came down because they were so worried about trouble as your fans were abusing everyone in sight,and at your place it was us who weren't allowed into the bar because of some of your heavy handed tactics from stewards

And to top it off someone now goes and threatens to stab any urchin he sees,well done lads!!

This does not detract from the fact that generally people are not keen to engage in banter because of the tactics used on the forums by some associated with your club. I have personally witnessed some outragous manipulation, threats bullying and twisting of comments to the extent I completly ignore a number of posters and will not post on your forum again!!

 

It is fine for you to come here and the banter is good and I like most enjoy the Joke, you must understand that when equal banter is delivered back at your door the atmosphere and tone of threads suddenly changes!!

 

Ribbit was wrong and I am certain feels a bit foolish, however Canvey Loon a mature sensible reasoned man was treated in a very bad way as was I and several others.

 

Therefore there never will be anything other than one sided comments because those people who are articulate enough to give you a run for your money will probably not engage, as it is just not worth it!!

 

It is a shame as I think it has indirectly led to unecessary hostility!!

Not an excuse in my book. First to hold my hands up to admitting to posting some unworthy posts after a wine or fifteen - as has Easty, but threatening to cut people is out of line...

i understand what you mean to a certain extent,but some of yours and other comments were aimed at the running of the club and not actually towards the fans,that i believe was your gripe,it was certainly that that got me banned from the club for a few weeks but that is all sorted now,i think if the banter is just silly little digs then it is fine,and for the most part that is what it is but when someone comes on threatening to do what ribbit says then there is no wonder that hostilities exist!!

I agree no excuse, but who is anyone to tell me what banter is, it certainly is not somebody living in a glass house throwing stones, that was my point then and now.

An example: If Mr Jones comes on here and accuses somebody of financial irregularities that is OK.

If somebody does the same to Mr Jones all of a sudden all hell breaks loose, threads are wiped and threats are made.

Thats not a Forum.

Its not rubbish when i have given an honest verdict of what happened that day. I had not been drinking and had been watching everything that was happening. Personally, i couldn't give a monkeys whether you believe me or not because your opinion dont count for much on here anyway, let alone your own forum because they think your a di*k as well according to my PM's from people i know who support Hornchurch and are rather nice to Canvey supporters.

 

I had Hornchurch fans trying to get on the pitch and when i said that they could not, i was accused of being biased because they were from Hornchurch and they threatened to punch me. When i was escorting people out of the ground at the end, 3-4 fans came up to us and started calling us scum and ar*eholes and that we did not deserve the win and this was before the fighting by the gate. We have never had to do this with any other fans but Hornchurch and Southend. We have had Dagenham fans in and they were never any trouble and we've had run-ins with them in the past. Even Gravesend who have had arguments with us before have come into the bar after a game and been ok.

 

So i assume this is all just a dream i had and that the loud mouth, threatening Hornchurch fans were just picked on, eh? I do not lie and have given an honest account of what happened that day. Whether or not we gave some back is irrelevent. That is a normal reaction to being shouted at and threatened. It was Hornchurch fans who got rowdy over being 2-0 up and then started throwing wobblers when it didn't go their way and fans got abusive towards staff who by law and duty have to become firm with people if they behave like Hornchurch fans did that day. I WAS threatened by your fans and their is no getting around that.

 

That is more serious than some pis*ed up bloke saying nonsense over an internet forum about how he is going to stab you. Not very nice, i know and not acceptable from a genuine Canvey fans point of view but its hardly scary either is it, when he dont know what you look like. Read my comment on another thread about that and you SHOULD realise that you should not take that seriously as he is a tit.

 

End of now. Tired of explaining to a child what is considered right and wrong. You cant do anything to inbred kiddies nowadays, except just give them cheap cider and Bacardi Breezers and a computer and let them talk cr*p all day. It is the only way to distract them from having sex with their sister and making more underage inbred babies.

chalky,i don't particularly care what pm's of support you get from hornchurch fans,i have my own mates and i have others i don't really give a toss about,those people as far as i am concerned are the ones who say things behind your back then talk to you on match days,they really ain't worth a w*nk,perhaps you shoud tell them to come up to me on a match day and tell me their problem,but i doubt they will!!!

funny really coz i get pms from canvey fans who say all the banter is funny and some of you lot need to liven up a bit,one even read "keep it up,these lot are a right miserable bunch of gits who need to liven up" that was by one of your own fans!

someone threatening to stab someone is about as serious as it gets without stabbing someone,do you know someone who has been stabbed and lost their life because i do and it ain't nice to those around especially those who have seen an incident like that

In all honesty chalky it is you who is now giving little childish swipes and digs against people so everything you were arguing about you are now doing yourself,now go away mate and stop stiring yourself,the hornchurch fans were not that bad at canvey,it was yours who were throwing rocks,threatening our fans etc etc

and it is my understanding the police have been informed for serious threats against hornchurch supporters on the 12th

I was the steward in the Hornchurch end when you lot came down, and there was a small section of hornchurch fans that were complete dicks that started every bit of trouble i saw. most of the hornchurch fans were walking past me apologising for the 'bloody kids'. but then i have also seen a small amount of Canvey fans being cocks at away games. it is a sad fact that every club has them. in all the time i have been a steward i have had to break 4 fights at park lane so it is obviously a very very small percentage of stupid, usually drunk morons.

That's the way I saw it as well. Most of the trouble that day was caused by kids. I know HX had problems with kids at their games throughout that season.

Saying that we have had similar problems as well as alot of clubs.

well most of the kids don't even go any more,i am not saying every hornchurch fan is an angel,some do get drunk and abusive,i was among about 10 hornchurch fans at our place who got abused constantly in our own stand before being moved over the other side by the stewards and i believe there was others who had the similar treatment before chosing to move themselves,most of these were by youngsters i have to admit that
