& what has happened to us is that why we havent got as much fans do you think also i think if they were doin badly & still were in league 2 i think JK would have stayed at canvey & we would still be in the conference & i think we could have the fans he wanted through the gates

I think that's a long way from the truth. Our gates in the Ryman were never as good as they should be and I think it's quite abrasive to suggest that Southend's success is why we have suffered with crowds. I don't doubt that some have left, but to be fair, they were never that great to start with.

 

Even with Southend playing in the Championship, we should still be able to get 500+ a week and, were we still in the Conference, we should have been able to get 1500 a week. We couldn't for various reasons, but I don't think Southend were to blame.

Canvey is one of the safest places from flooding in the UK. The rest of the south will drown long before we do. We've got massive sea walls, for starters.

you reallyare some of the most miserable fans going,can't you lot just take a bit of banter and dish it back out,all you do is moan how other clubs go onto your forum and demand them to be banned,perhaps the reason why other clubs don't like you is the complete arrogance you have shown while under jeff king,Yes hornchurch have been called arrogant when the money came in but the club have always prided itself on letting people come down to the bridge and be looked after,when we last came down to your place we was treated like sh1t,wasn't allowed down to your bar after.

When you came down to the bridge,we weren't even allowed to stand in our normal place because of the arrogance and stupidness of some of your fans threatening people,now you are back down to ryman 1 its time you started making friends,we found that out last season,it does go a long way

Yeah some people(myself included)come on here purposly to wind you up and it doesn't take much but lighten up a bit lads as that tends to happen in footy

and good luck in the cup today as we like to see people from the same league as us do well in fa cup

Threatening to stab a hornchurch fan or any other you see on sept 12th!isn't going to win you many friends,in fact its likely to end up with you doing a long stretch,still at least comments like that are now condemned to the graveyard where they belong!!!

I think you will find that the main issue is that there are number of people on here who have tried to join in a bit of banter on your site.

 

This has very quickly resulted in a whole series of personal attacks, spam and threats.

 

This has been followed by the wholesale deleting of threads that showed any public criticism of your current administration.

 

Many people myself included have resolved never to engage you at that level again as it is not worth the hassle for what is supposed to be a bit of banter!

 

The situation got so bad at one stage, I was warned that people would be turning up at my place of work, I still have the printouts.

 

Since then I have refrained from engaging on your site and I record every post (that I make) that has the slightest connection to AFC Hx, why would anyone want to engage in "banter" on that level?

i personally don't know what you are talking about mob,i just come on here and wind you lot up and end up getting threats of someone stabbing me on the 12th.

Does mr ribbit think i will stay awy from the game coz of some childish threat,from what i saw last night he is going to run around cutting hornchurch fans all night,this should please the authorities should they see this,wonderful fans you have down there!

First point about how miserable we are. MOB is right. Banter is what we want. Not attacks and stupid comments that are aimed to wind us up. There is a difference you know, Urchin. If you look back at your comments over time, you will see that it has always been you starting something. That is not banter. Banter is when we have a laugh, which if you look back again, you will see happens a lot but not when your on here for some strange reason!

Second point about being treated like sh*t when you came down last. I was a steward that day and as a steward we roam around to check the behaviour of fans, especially with a game like that one. Hornchurch were two up and very quickly began becoming hostile towards us. We knew this would happen and it was ok for a bit but then we started coming back and when we got to 2-2, Hornchurch fans became very abusive from certain parts of the ground. Then when we went 3-2 up and eventually won, Hornchurch fans were heard and seen threatening fans and stewards and some were trying to get on the pitch. I had about 3-4 fans threaten me when i asked them to refain from making threats. This was why you weren't allowed in the clubhouse after the game because of what had happened during it. And you can say that we were saying stuff back but i can assure you that this was a direct response to the threatening behaviour of the Hornchurch fans that day.

The last fact was that we were not threatening you at our last visit. We were retaliating again to you being unpleasant and the reason you had to stand somewhere else was because it was a big game and it was necessary because of crowds. I was there and know what happened and have been going to football matches with this lot for over 10 years and know whether they would act like you say and the truth is that they dont.
