Average attendance

Could everyone stop 'going on' about troublemakers until we see some?

The atmosphere amongst the Saints fans was terrific on Saturday. The singing was typical of a football crowd but very good-humoured and in fairness to the Police, they were sensibly restrained and good-humoured, too. From what I saw the new stewards were very professional, too.

I'm beginning to think that the 12 year old and his/her message was a myth, anyway.

Let's get on with winning the League and lay this other stuff to rest.

Will they be used for other games? They told me that they were only hired because of the possibility of trouble from the Aldershot fans.

Now up to 638 over the 12 home league games so far.

Going back to the orignal topic... Doesn't this give us the second best average attendance figures in the league now? If we can just push the average up by another 1300 we could claim the top spot!

The most simple way to do this would be to build a barracks in the City somewhere, get a load of squaddies in, then order them to watch us occasionally.

A harder way to get more people to come and watch the Saints would be to advertise, to put up big posters, do more deals, go on Ceefax once in a while, sell the club to the City, Football in the Community and all that, paint the Town Hall blue and yellow, paint the curbstones, lampposts, anything you can see, advertise, advertise, advertise etc.

You get the point. The building work on the barracks commences in the year 2365.
