Old Margate Shirt Sponsored by The Exploited

Hello, Does anybody have an Old Margate shirt, from when they were sponsored by the punk band The Explloited, I think it was an away shirt.

I am after size XL in v good condition if possible, and would like to buy or trade.

Were we EVER sponsored by this band. I have no recollection of them. Are we talking the late 70s early 80s here or what?

We were sponsored by Buster's record company had 'Bad Manners' on home shirt another band on red away shirt, then a third band on the maroon away shirt a season later. If it was the maroon one, Melvin was wearing one at the Slough game.

The Exploited shirt was indeed the maroon / purple one - think it was usually used as a third shirt. Margate didn't wear it many times but a couple I remember were when we beat Staines in the FA Cup during 97/98 to set up the Fulham tie and right at the start of that season when we played Ramsgate for the Link Music Cup at Hartsdown. The Business was the band name on the red 'deck-chair' shirts and I suspect that I might have been the only Margate fan to own albums by all three bands - Bad Manners, The Business and The Exploited - at the time their names appeared on our shirts.

I remember the maroon shirts that night very dark they were and hard to see. Great night though.
