Paula - You would have been very welcome around the Chairman's place yesterday actually, the Manager and bag man were there too and your name came up believe it or not. Don't worry though as there will be plenty more celebrations between now and the end of April so you won't miss out, we may even become your second Club if we are not already.

I wasn't lucky enough to be drinking with the chairman - I was sluming it in a pub near to Wares' ground. Still I was in good company though - 3 other Canvey Supporters.

Horace, come out of their ground, turn left and go a few hundred yards and theres a car park. Turn left and about 10yds along on left hand side. Have Sky Prem as well and good beer. It looks a bit rough in side but they were very pleasent. Only down side is the loos. They are upstairs and when you've had a few Pepsis they are a pig to come down <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Sorry cant remember the name of it though.

A few hundred yards is about right! Ware's ground is rather out of town, although really well placed for the A10. Was going to come along and make myself known, but then we got a late arranged fixture so I couldn't. Never mind, perhaps when you return to play The Real Enfield.

Horace don't worry - he told me about that he thought better of it after posting it. It wasn't offensive too me. I know his sense of humour. He is actually a mate of mine (yeah I know) and I give as good as I get. Sorry if it offended you - that was not the intention.
