Minibuses to away games.

This is probably covered somewhere else but I can't find it. Do you have to be a member of the Fleet Trust to travel on the hired minibus? How much do you have to pay to go to an away game on the minibus? Are there minibuses going to any long-haul away game sin September?

 

If I'm interested I have to contact Chris P or Jessica, don't I?

How much you pay depends on the distance and to find out about away travel just ask in shop.

 

There is a mini-bus running to Southport which is leaving Stonebridge Road at about 6am due to 1pm Kick Off.

To travel on the Trust's official away transport you have to be a Trust member. This is to cover you on the bus/coach and when in the opposing teams ground in case of an injury.

 

The more people we can get to travel the cheaper it costs, if we can fill the mini bus it will be cheaper than if it was half full. If we don't get enough people then we won't run a mini bus, the Trust can't subsidise away Travel. Last season we managed to get transport to all away games except the ones around the M25 (Canvey, Grays, Aldershot, Crawley, Woking and Dagenham) along with the Morecambe and Halifax games. We would have got one to Morecambe but some of us stayed up there for the Halifax game instead of coming back down and going back up within a few days.

 

So it's up to you guys, personally I would like to have a full coach for all away games but people don't, for some reason, like to do it. It will get there cheaper, you can have a few beers and you can have some pre match banter.

Between £15-£20. If we were to run a coach it would be about the same.

 

Whoever said the further the distance the more the cost is correct.
