Just wanted to add that not only do we repair our "own" equipment, we also repair Brimmo's as well. I know this is true as it is our own Safety Officer, Dave Farenden who gets called to Brimmo to repair the equipment. This is mowers etc used to maintain all the outside pitches.

 

I am getting a bit peed off with people saying that we at ETFC dont pay our way so to speak. If I had a pound for everytime that Dave was called out to Brimmo to fix something I would be very wealthy.

 

One more thing to add, Dave got another one of Brimmo Tractor/mowers repaired only for it to be vandalised, we presume, by some local herberts.

 

As far as I am concerned Dave & I do have a fairly good "working arrangement" with most of the people at Brimmo, but as you know there always has to be one odd one doesnt there!!!

 

I personally think that Brimmo get quite a good deal from "Groundshare" so to speak.

Efc's infiltration into Brimsdown (and the subsiquent stirring that has been going on) will not doubt only worsen Towns relationship with our landlords.

Stirring ?Thats a bit OTT . The Downs was offered as a training facility as it is a little cheaper than our previous one, The Bar is hired and we do Not "REPEAT" NOT get any Income from it . Brimsdowns&sc is a business and has to make money somehow . It can't make money when you people at ETFC hire out a church hall and the hollybush and a local school for your functions , I believe the Term is shot yourself in the foot NOT STIRRING.

Yes i agree.Brimsdwon have shot themselves in the foot.The money being gained by renting to EFC, has all been lost by ETFC now not using The Downs for any functions.

 

The hiring out of other venues happened only after The Downs people decided to get into bed with EFC.I hear a fair few Town fans now drink in the Issak before games as well now.Doubt Brimsdown scc has made any more money in the six months EFC have been using The Downs,than in the six months previous.

There is now.We used to use the Downs aplenty before the deal with EFC.Not the best bit of BUSINESS by Brimsdwon scc.

 

How would you feel if Town suddenly infiltrated Ware FC and started training there every week.Using the clubhouse for all Enfield Towns functions.Hiring out the bar for ourselves when we played you away.Snooping on your club,and generally gossiping about all your finacial arangements with all the staff and directors at Ware FC.As a result undermining your reltionship with your landlords..Etc

I would say if you wanted to hire ware's clubhouse then Go Ahead, Its not EFC's business to know or to interfere as to who hires it or when , As for gossiping ? I think you've been listening to too many porky pies mate ,How can we interfere with your arrangement with BS&SC(And To my knowledge we dont ) when you have a long groundshare agreement for several years .
