Sorry.Too many of you have proved in the past that you can't engage in banter or any sort of debate without becoming abusive. So as far as i'm concerned.

Well I you must lead a very timmed life, a few fans have a pop and we are all the same!!!

So If the Town fan who riped into me after the game yesterday is anything to go by, are you all the same??? No I think not! There are some of you guys who are still good friends of mine, and some I still talk to but as for the rest, well I have no time for.

LS No one is the same, dont juge a book by it's cover and all that.

LS most of the bad words between the two sets of fans dissappeared long ago. In recent times it has tended to be our fans who have gone on the EFC forum and had a pop which is why te bad feeling seems to have started again. The only idiot that seems to bring down the reputation of EFC fans is Man From Mars but he is clearly totally off his trolly.

If a Town fan had a pop at BB like that then they sould be ashamed of themselves. I know some people are not happy with the situaion re the Downs but that is between EFC's owners and Brimsdwon SSC and not there fans.

LS, your comments recently seem to hack off just about everyone on this site. why don't you think before you post?

Why have some town fans got the hump with the downs bar??? I'm only asking as not to sure what it has to do with our football club, the club see non of that money as it's not run by our chairman, or infact anyone of the board.

Some Town fans have got the hump with EFC's board, just as much as The Downs. Some do not like the fact that EFC are using same location as Enfield Town fc for training and functions. Some fans feel let down by The Downs agreeing to enter into a finacial arrangment with our local rivals. Many do not like the closeness of some people at Brimsdown with our local rivals, and the fact that our own clubs finacial arrangements with Brimsdown now seem to be common knowledge to EFC fans.

Thats the problem.Who did your club talk to to find out that Town don't pay rent as part of their groundshare??? Who did your club talk to to be told that Town don't respect Brimsdown???

The reason you pay rent is because you offer Brimdsdown nothing else in the way of reward. If you hepled rebiuld their ground for them.If you provided them with a full-time groundsman. If you spent every spare hour repainting their toilets, installing new facilites and constantly helped improve the venue. If you put a £1000 behind the bar every week. Then Maybe, JUST MAYBE you wouldn't be required to pay rent either.

Money seems to be talking at the moment. You are relying on your chairman to maintain his current level of funding (which must be in the region of between 15-20k per season). That level of funding could rely on how long your right-back remains at the club.Good luck to you.My club will never rely on the actions of one man (or four men).Mine will rely on myself and all my fellow fans as a collective. One man/one vote.collective ownership.Who will be the most successful in the short-term and long-term future? who knows? But after Laz,i'm not in the mood to ever gamble again.

This post really gets to the nub of things; no one person can ever drive this club. At ETFC we are a proud collective of individuals who not only support our club but own a bit of it. No one person can ever call the shots again.

EFC seem to call us cliqueys, this is a fallacy; I have never felt so welcome by strangers as I did when I went to a game with my boy a couple of seasons ago (and ever since).

Tony Lazy (or whatever) killed EFC in my eyes; he left us no choice but to go it alone on quite unfamiliar territory. Its worked, look at our membership and attendances compared to EFC!

Speaks for itself... look to your future and we will do likewise.

Treat Brimsdown with respect? Town spend significant time each week repairing and making good the latest damage by locals. So equipment like lawn mowers will need to be regularly replaced whether because of wear and tear or theft. We have to put stuff under lock and key cos if you don't it walks. If you respect a place wouldn't you remember to lock it up?

Roy and his team maintain the pitch and we have workteams in there week in week out upgrading the facilities to what we need for the next level up. Yes we may never need it but we invest time and money and lots of it.

On Saturday an EFC players stood on top of the fence and jumped down to collect a ball and damaged it as it was soft metal. Now that fence was originally specified the same thickness sheet metal as St Alban's FC on the advice of a former Chairman there but as you can see it certainly is not the same quality as theirs. Why?
