Harry J Allstars acted like a complete [****!!****] again by saying:
I knew Brian was in charge of the new ground. I read it in the programme of the last game last season. Who were West Ham playing that day?

In other news Darren, have you paid that £60 yet for your sponsor a goal last season? You was going to send the check over the summer wasn't you? Ever get round to it?

Of course you did (2nd post from bottom)

As for other news - I think you'll find it nearer £70 & I posted a cheque to the club in the summer which I still await to be cashed - what has it got to do with you anyway?

However, your comments beg the questions of how you know it hasn't been cashed yet, seeing as you are so sure that I didn't pay. You have no right to have any knowledge and certainly no right to publish any financial details that involve myself! Furthermore, I will seek to find out who is telling you things that don't concern you in the first place!

Tell you what, next time you're on the same train home as myself, I won't get you a lift from my colleague, we'll just run you over and leave you in the gutter where all the trash belongs.

'Sponsor a goal updater'? Trust secretary???

Even if that's true, you have no place asking in a public forum when there is a pm available. That little escapade merely goes to show that somebody made a mistake appointing you.

Now.....are you saying that you haven't had the cheque, or not bothered to retrieve it from wherever it went upon its arrival at the club?

Either way, I await the matching public apology.

Not as much as the person who says that whilst spelling 'you're' incorrectly.

Sorry, could resist that one!

Darren I'm sorry for asking but you yourself were publicly saying you needed to pay the money on here a couple of months ago so I apologise for saying it but I thought it was "open topic".

All this stemming from a conversation about some seats, I know I helped in helping it to get like this.

Please accept my apology. Your moderator do your job.

Gary I cricise not because you complain about the team, if you have a criticism you should post it. My criticsm of you stems from the fact that after a few good games your oppinion goes one way and then if our form dips (not style of play but form) then your suicidle. Our play was poor from last Octorber the Tamworth game on the 15th, you continued to defend the team until you finally snapped in late february when the results were no longer coming in.

Spot on, H. Like most realists on here, I know we are only a mid-table side at best.

To that end I have always accepted we will win some & lose some.

All I have ever asked for is a style of play that will please the eye, give me entertainment, value for money and some good results.

That now seems to be happening.

That is why I thanked LD.

Nothing sinister at all.

There is however, a big difference between myself saying I need to pay this, when the season had only just ended..... and yourself highlighting that this payment is outstanding!

So apology accepted until the next time.

Now.....answer the question.

Has this payment not arrived or is it sitting in the office simply untouched?

Well not really. Imagine if you were a politician and this sort of thing happened the press would have a field day. I thought that as you talked about it it was fair game.

That, my idiotic friend, is because you are more two-faced than the Roman god Janus.

Were you the Billy no-mates standing by the corner flag at the Swanscombe End in the first half on Saturday?
And I am neither an idiot (a degree in Marine Science justifies that) and I have no desire to be a friend of yours.

When punctuation goes wrong, it can cause REAL problems!!!

Try this:

Dear Mother,

In law, there is nothing to make me say thank you, but the quality of your gifts compels me at least to write to tell you how I feel. Thank you so much for the presents! I was expecting nothing more than a token yet, again, you have exceeded even your own incredible standards.

It was a shame you had to stay here for such a short time. I thought I might have coped, but it was unbearable seeing you leave. The relief was immense when I heard we might see you again soon. I wanted to end it all by saying goodbye now. I hope I will not have to say it to you again for a long time. If you have the opportunity to spend Christmas elsewhere next year, please do not.

Much love

Matthew
