Have to remember it's not only Southend doing well but the mighty Hammers are on the up. We gained alot of supporters when the Hammers wern't doing well as did you. Many of those have gone back to the Boleyn.

Would probably say we've lost about 150. Our average crowd in the old Ryman Prem was about 600. To be honest that should have been more considering the success we were having at the time.

We've certainly lost the majority to Southend. There are alot of people who used to go the Lane but haven't seen them in ages. The next thing you hear they're at Roots Hall.

 

I know a few who are going to West Ham now.

 

Not a great deal you can do about it really.

The fact is that Urchin is going on about his club already winning the league and that he is the best, yada yada, yawn yawn. Heard the same thing last year with Grays. They get an early lead, think that the other 30-40 games dont matter, get a erection over it and talk up themselves until it all goes wrong for them. This is because big-headedness always fu*ks up and boasters never win anything. Couldn't really give a sh*t what his responses are about Canvey because we are not gonna win the league and never gonna get huge attendances either. Yes, we are pikeys and live in a caravan and are lower in the league than you. So now he has nothing to throw at us because i just said everything cr*p about Canvey. So you can try something else that we haven't heard of, or we can just get on with trying to support our teams and stop having you trying to show how big your di*k is on here. Yeah, you're not gonna convince anyone on that one either, mate!

well said chalky there are still plenty of games left & i would not get carried away with your good start you might F**k up & end up in 7th & we could go up instead you never know what could happen & lookin forward to our derby in a few weeks

& the only reason why hornchurch are doing well is because of the money i mean they come up from the ESL appoint a top manager & get a about a few con south players but one thing i like about them was when they went bust & started again they still kept a good fanbase

That's rich from the team that had to start there after losing their status! Canvey = no money = be humble and start from scratch. Hornchurch = no money (after they got greedy) = become an arrogant pri*k.

 

Yeah, that's a hard decision on who people are gonna back.

 

Surely its time for a Urchin special now? Just cant wait for that tumbleweed after another of your comebacks, yeah!
