Gate 152

Well we hoped the dockers were pants and so it was to be. It took only 15 minutes for town to open up the defence like with a clinical charge by Ricci Crace running onto an Adam Gant clearance, keeper fumbled and Ricci netted 0 – 1. On 21 minutes Velandia cross for Ricci Crace to net 0 – 2. At the other end Paul Campbell made a vital tackle back. Not to be out done David Bastian got to the by line and crossed a lovely cross to Steve Velandia who hit a thunderbolt of a volley which was saved by Marrable. Just on half time Steve Velandia crossed for Ricci Crace to net his hat-trick. This is embarrassingly easy. Town fans at the break speculated as to what the final score might be. Could and should town go for our record.

Second half and JC decided to rest players for Monday and taking off Tickner and Hunt and brought on Fitzgerald and Smith. On 61 minutes Lee Smith hit a cracking shot into the net past Marrable. 0 – 4.

It is probably too early to suggest the ESL is calling Tilbury but there really was a gulf between the two teams in terms of quality of football and ability. Ryman I North teams ought to be looking to maximise their points tally both home and away and will do unless they pull their socks up.

If Romford lose against Tilbury they can be VERY cross with themselves. Come on Coupworcoup

Is that a vote of confidence or a sleight of hand? I know they are having a few probs down at St Chavs Road, with Ashman moving on and Cobby retired.
Our Tirana Terror is back from hols now so we can unleash him on them next week.
We have started well by all accounts, but would love to get through at least one or two more rounds, if not for the kudos then the money...

L.S.

Not sure I agree.

Don't know why, but I think Jim might just change it around a bit.

I would like to see Hughes <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif" alt="" /> flying at the E's defence !

We will have to wait and see.

Bring it on. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/boxing.gif" alt="" />
