I like to think we played our part in helping you move up to the Conf South however many years go it was.

 

Bad luck today but I reckon you'll be fine for the season ahead. The early 4 points will help in the long run. A win next match though please, all the same!

From the report I have been given we played some neat stuff today but never really looked liked scoring.

Time to give Sozzo & Hakim a go IMO...but what do I know ;-)

Your report was inaccurate, we were shocking, the worst I have seen us play for a long time.

Although Alty never really let us play, they were nothing special and should of been there for the taking.

An awful lot of poor individial performances today, cenntral midfield is a problem with neithef Cracknell or Ram seemly up to the task

I find that non-league football fans can be very patronising to their team.

 

Even after a sh*t performance, the fans will go; "oh well, we tried, lots of positives, gave it their all etc.etc."

 

In the long run, it would be much better if everyone said, "yeah, we were sh*t. It needs to be sorted out and fast."

 

Honesty is the best policy.

You will often hear Managers and supporters looking for the positives in a defeat.

 

Saying " yeah, we were sh*t. It needs to be sorted out and fast." is not the way to help keep this young team motivated.

Well, in the game I went to yesterday (not City), my team were sh*t and it needs to be sorted out fast.

 

Couldn't give a toss whether it motivates them or not. I paid my money, I've a right to voice my disapproval!

 

Hopefully, St Albans will be back on form tomorrow - the last couple of results (against average sides) have been worryingly ominous. Three points tomorrow would be most welcome.
