MFC vs Slough Town - live coverage ....

would it be worth going down the side then? Having said that, sing when we're winning, well, not losing, was never more appropriate. Why is it when things aren't going our way, we're very quick to stop supporting the side together?

If budman is on filming duty on Monday, I'll be down the side under the cover.

cant be at the next 2 games but i plan on returning for the AFCW game and will help to make noise then, if the songs are startedi will join in, but i am in switzerland til tuesday and at twickenham next saturday. would be good if we could get a more constant stream of support going from the side, it did work well when we tried it last season.

Sing when we are not losing - true. But two goals in less than five minutes at the start of the half really knocked the stuffing out of us today.

There is something about standing down the side that to me does not seem right. It just seems unnatural.

Although having said that making noise at the Slag does seem a waste of time as the noise just does not carry.

Well as a sheep I'll follow the masses. Celebrating a goal from down the side is wrong though. I feel like clapping like at the cricket.

Miss of the day?

and then the number 12 committed what looked a very nasty challenge on Dell which left him limping for the last 10.

I saw that tackle and our number 12 won the ball before he went into the player. I thought you guys were good today, looking forward for our next game against you and good luck for future games.

But to be fair (no bias i promise) He should have gone 10 mins earlier for a professional foul when he checked our striker when he was clean through.

I thought we played well in the first half. Good goal by Wallace.

Margate look a very good side, we were second best on the strength side of things nearly all of the match.

Let's hope for a big crowd against Horsham, that can boost the Rebels to a victory.

We deserved a point and on the last two performances should finish comfortable mid-table.

Jarvis MOTM - but trying to take out their goalkeeper wasn't really necessary, but the bloke does give 110%

Good support today, and i reckon we should just ditch playing at windsor and play all our games away from home...

The old bloke on sticks was brillant - i've met a similar bloke at Lewes games; 'your goalkeepers had his eye socket kicked out', 'your strikers gone to hospital with suspected broken leg' 'hooligans have eaten all your supporters babies.'

ps was he or wasn't he wearing his 'lucky' hat?

Totally agree with all 3 comments:: and to be fair there were a few chants when we let in the 2 goals but:

1) Only half the slough fans went behind the goal 2nd half

2) MOST fans would be hurling afetr watching their team defend like that for 10 mins and throw away 3 points, i mean the corner WHAT THE BLOODY HELL WAS THAT? Id say Sunday league but 99% of sunday league teams

a) Check a man going short.
B) Mark a free man near post.

I'm of the Liam opinion here:- I will chant my heart out if:

Our players are truly giving 100%..
I feel that the noise may aid players to GIVE a [****!!****] if they are not. Or
We are getting stuffed and its just a comedy game.

And i hate being at the side too, hopefully a bank holiday match may bring a few more to fill up behind the goal and make it all worthwhile, but i somehow doubt it.. 350 max (which is a real shame on a bank holiday).

God this is neagtive- i thought we outplayed margate for 80 mins on saturday and if we continue will stay up definitely.
