heard from a few supporters during pre season that we are signing chris lockwood from dagenham and redbridge on loan. a young central midfield player, sounds like he could do a job for us. is he signing or has he already joined?

get in, great signing should easily cut it at this level.

How many more 1st team players will be in the stand for Saturdays game, Five there on Tuesday,Will due back shortly plus new signing, how long will they put up with not playing regular football before they are off, Is there to be a rota system,some havent had a run out since Wick game.

Three things that make me question this to be true (I am not saing it isn't):-

 

1) Squad annouced at training on Thursday, he wasn't named.

 

2) When I spoke to Steve earlier there was no news of any new signings.

 

3) The first three messages were all left by the same person on the same IP addres within a couple of minutes of each one.

Mr Lockwood is still touting himself around then?

Or is it a different Lockwood at Dagenham & Redbridge who was allegedly joining Slough in pre-season but, strangely, just like us, have never heard of him?

Tips for progressing in non-league football:-

1] If you're going to blow your own trumpet at least post under your real name and be prepared to deliver the goods.

2] Multiple postings under different names singing your own praises make you look a bit schizo and would tend to put clubs off.

3] Never say your signing for a club on their own forum as people like me [who do the signings] show you up for the prat you obviously are!

and

4] Don't bother asking for a trial in the future because you won't get one around here.
