Trotty says in todays paper that Margate are no closer to shifting their transfer listed trio. Nobody has come in for Brayley & he says that probably tells a story. He thinks Yiga is trying his best but Trotty thinks he needs full time time coaching to fulfil his potential & hasnt the time to do it. As for Deen he still cant be contacted.

Brayley is wasting not just his talent for us but also for himself-let's hope Trotty can sort this out as I would love to see him in the first team again. Yiga needs full time training is a baffling one though-he looked o.k last season. As for Deen-well I've two words for him-Mark Greene.

Thought Yiga looked ok when he was playing in central midfield in a three or five man midfield last season but was awful when used as a winger or striker. I'm afraid I don't think he is good enough at the moment to play in our two man central midfield partnership. He would be carried through games and you can't have passengers. He's not a winger and is not effective enough as a striker. When in midfield he impressed me at Wimbledon in particular. I'm with Trotty on this one that he needs a lot of work although could come good for somebody.

I think GW you are right re:Yiga .

 

A decent squad player, but in fairness to RT, i think he has raised the bar somewhat higher than Yiga can provide (at the moment ).

Love to know what terrible thing Bertie did in the few weeks between the end of last season and the announcement that he was up for sale. Whatever it was - and I for one have no idea - has certainly turned a lot of people against him so they must be better informed than I am.

 

Doubt that he was obliged to help out with the kit, cones, etc at Leyton last season or turn up for the Hendon home game when he was banned and if he's done something drastic and knows his time at the club is up it seems a bit odd that he turned out for the reserves (unlike Hasim Deen for example) and also went along on Tuesday. Looks like he's making an effort to me and I felt sorry for him on Tuesday, it was obvious he was desperate to be involved.

The problem is that since he was put up on the transfer list he has not turned up for training up until a few days before the first game of the season and he is still not match fit. Trott gave him a fitness test and therefore Trott maybe reconsidering the situation with BB.
