Fleet Announce New Sponsor

Recommended Posts

'Five figure fee', it's not as much money as GLS but we have a sponsor on our shirts nonetheless? And in terms of profile, an international airline? Nice one GNFC! Now let's hope shirt sales rocket now there's no excuse not to buy one!

How do you know it's less than GLS? The GLS money was over a much longer period, and we didn't get it all.

Hmmmm I suppose! I don't know the in's and out's of either deals, so I won' try to out-stat you <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> You'd win anyway. Well it's great news all the same, the stadium work starting and shirt sponsor being announced in one day; that's two of our biggest problems sorted (or starting to be sorted) within hours of one another!

My brother in law to be lives in Salzburg and he is a prixe ****. Now i Have to go see him as requested , but at least the club will benefit.

Excfellant sponsor and well done all at the club. Was looking for a local company maybe as high as LaFarge or Blue Circle , but this is good news as it brings an international twist to the club and also has direct benefits for the supporters.

I'm going to Salzburg next month. You have to go via Vienna with Austrian Airlines. Only Ryanair fly direct to Salzburg from London Airports, unless you can get a seat on a charter flight from someone like Thomson or First Choice.

Here endeth my audition for Holiday 2007!

An extra few hours in Vienna will more than make up for him going on about his immense wealth and how much it costs to run his house and how little teams like the fleet dont deserve a place on this earth. Easy for him to say with his corporate tickets . Then again he has got me a few good tickets in the past.

what negative spin will the doom mongers put on it?

1. Should've got American Airlines or United or Qantas... directors are soooo unambitious going only for a European airline.

2. Austria's one of Europe's smaller countries. Directors are soooo unambitious. Should've gone for France or Germany or Russia.

3. Have Austrian Airlines had seats installed yet? We were promised them a decade ago and I like my favourite seat on a plane. Directors are soooooo unambitious.

4. It's all very well them getting a new sponsor but is it any different on the pitch? They'll probably cut the pitch up landing the aircraft. More long-ball game in an attempt to hit a passing plane. Will it attract the fans back to the club? I bet Daish can't even fly the plane. Directors are soooo unambitious.

etc etc etc
