how does one get to wivenhoe by boat?

Into the Blackwater and north up the colne to Wivenhoe.

 

Berth at Wivenhoe yacht club who are very hospitable

You should really make the effort, Kev, and come for a sail with me. You wont find many rich people in BYH. Indeed it is their passion for the passtime that yachties remain poor.

 

BTW what would the workers in Burnham do if there was no sailing?

I bet 'Kev' will be well up for a free sail in a boat.As he does seem to specialise in 'free days outs'.What with his free travel pass and all the numerous rallies,marches,and protests that are available throughout the year.

 

The only bit of entertainment he has to pay for (apart from Soho & kings cross <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />) are trips to watch EFC play.No wonder he is a rare and infrequent supporter.

They had a big bar if I remember right..been a long time since we played there...there is/was an amazing pub outside the station, you know the type in that part of Essex...
People with six fingers, the bar goes quiet when you walk in and sell some mystery drink akin to cider that they keep in a fridge out the back.

Thanks for the offer mate but a man of principles I Am , I dont do expensive toys when the struggle against world poverty goes on in our every day lives, I was a bit miffed at Mr whittingtons bentley at G W R last week but its understandable with his tory party background I suppose.
