Nice to see a club return to their historical location and not have to be nomads relying on other clubs to house them.

We received detailed planning permission for the commercial development from the planning committee and the full council in July last year. It is the club who have chopped and changed the plans since then.

I'm talking about when we first put planning in. Plus Thanet Council has blocked plans and ideas from the club over many years.

For all of you who were against the name change to Thanet Council that goes down to lies told to us by a Thanet Council Officer (at the time)

Maybe if these "people" realised they are working for us and not their own agenda we might get somewhere.

If you are referring to the plans that a five year old could have drawn, Im not particularly suprized the Council said no...

 

As for the current plans (dont worry I wont bang on about this too much, Ive said it before. Also, my attention at present is aimed at Westwood Cross not MFC), there are a whole range of rumours going around about what is or what is not going to actually happen. As Ive said before, lets wait till the plans actually appear at a Council meeting. Theyve not appeared yet.

Funny the Margate chairman said in the programme that the club and the council are currently negotiating the plans put forward by MFC.

It doesnt matter until the Council approves the plans in a normal meeting. Neither the Cabinet, nor the Council Leader can in isolation give planning consent to any development, even if its an amendment. They can talk all they want, but its up to Council, not Ezekiel as to whether the stadium can go ahead.

So Ezekiel never stopped a Council meeting within 5 minutes a few years ago without any discussion.

I realise you wish to have his babies by your continued support of him and I am sure the man will not rest until Westwood is renamed Ezekielville.

As for Westwood, Ive publically disagreed with Ezekiel over Westwood and Im helping the Save the Island campaign. Hardly me wanting to have his babies... Just because you are part of a political party, it doesnt mean you cant criticise it.

First time round was definately the council (Ezekiel) stalling for their own nefarious purposes but now I blame the club and still doubt whether it'll ever happen. We the fans could easily be informed as to progess and the current state of affairs but do we get any info? - do we billio.

Did I dream once that we were told appilcation had been granted-I THOUGHT THIS HAD ALL BEEN SORTED ALREADY. Why are we told mid May then the end of this season-another point is the fixtures at the end of the season which aren't sorted which makes me think it's just not going to happen. I'm going to slightly plagerise Abdullah by signing off...

Well, lets be patient. Theres still plenty of time for the application to go through the planning process, get approved and for the club to get the building works organised as previously indicated by the club. If the club and the council can work together on this, itll happen with no problems at all and with time to spare.

We had approved plans last year in July, but since we have had to change the plans, but we have not been told why the plans have been (financial and sponshership problems i reckon) and these plans have yet been approved. The reasons why the fixtures have not been sorted out is because we have not got approval to build our new ground and also it is up to the clubs involved to change the fixtures and also if the the opposition approve to the fixture change.

Lets keep faith with the stadium, even though i must admit i a bit sceptical.

I have tried on several occasions to get the club to say SOMETHING even if its for example "alls well, everything still on schedule". As recent as Tuesday I asked again. But it has to be the truth,no bullshit!

If things arent going well then I'm sure we would like to know that too if that be the case.

Everytime I am told that things are running smoothly & that certain members are just waiting to give out that positive news we are all waiting for. Nothing to worry about I was told. I more than anyone am at bursting point with wanting to know something but we shall just have to continue to be patient(I know,how much more have we left in us)& trust those that are negotiating or who are dealing with this. Cant get blood out of a stone so its hang on in there I'm afraid. Am sure something will come out soon.Hopefully in the next couple of weeks but no promises mind.Its annoying I know but we just have to keep on believing & assume everything IS still on track.

There is another reason apparently for not hearing things too often & that is because certain parties specifically wish it to be that way in order to prevent any further delays & to get things sorted once & for all.The club are adherring to that request.

(I cant see why that would help either) but we just have to wait further I'm afraid,so it seems.

We have no choice but to, though I am confident that it WILL still happen.
