last nights fandango

been thinking about the general atmosphere in and around the ground last night and have to say how pleased we all are that the hard work paid off and that a nice clean stadium with excellent facilities to accomodate all of our fans and guests was enjoyed by all who attended...(altho bridie did complain about vertigo at half time and I understand that billy lepage found a weed near the halfway line that spoiled his preparations with the keepers...<img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />)

 

great atmosphere in the bar afterwards and a solid performance on the pitch watched by 13 new sponsors and their guests who will definitely be there in greater numbers on saturday...(its catching you see... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />)

 

thanks to everyone involved in making the night a success and setting a standard enjoyed by all and one to be carried on throughout the season....also many thanks to the fans for the support...the lads on the pitch love the banter

It was indeed a good atmosphere. So much so that the ref and his assistants had to be kicked out at closing time!

The GWR guys added to that aw well, not all visitors do.

We tend to always support at away grounds, eg Nicky at ETFC, lovely lady and does a good job as does our Grace.

Lot of hard work gone into that and 24/7 at that.

Grass was not too short either, which means the ball holds up a bit without getting caught.
