I don't..so wrong again Rhodes.

I actually thing its a pity more people didn't judge Shilton on the basis of his one perfromance in the legendary England v Poland game of 1973. Now that is a game that can be called legendary

Folks - Has anybody got the Non League paper within reach, if so turn to page 28 and you will see a photo of the great man in celebration with his Team Bath team mates in reaching the Conference South. What did I say about him being more than capable of playing at Step 2 level!

I see that Takumi Ake is all over the Non League Today Website like a rash, I wonder what Haringey Borough are thinking now having taken him for granted after he arrived at Coles Park virtually straight from Heathrow Airport with his luggage off a flight from Tokyo:

Check this out folks, Takumi has won Team Bath's male athlete of the month award, he has certainly come a long way since walking through the gates of heaven at Coles Park by mistake thinking it was White Hart Lane:

Greg Dyke - Aren't you aware of the legendary story where Takumi turned up at Coles Park straight from Heathrow Airport with his suit cases thinking he was at White Hart Lane which I suppose you could argue he was, he didn't speak a word of English at that time. As luck would have it I happened to be standing at the gates of heaven and immediately pressed his flesh asking the lady who was with him if he was interested in playing for Haringey Borough, the rest is history as he decided to stay and was arguably the best player the Club have ever had in their 102 year history.

You say arguably the best player in their history..possibly but I would make a case for Ricky Otto. Did he not go onto the Football League after Haringey whereas Ake has not got there yet.

Also Jean Marie Okita always used to give us a lot of problems...and of course the legend that is Junior Fung.

Lato - Firstly do you think there is any truth in the rumour that Kate Winslet will win an Oscar for Actress in a Leading Role at the Awards ceremony tomorrow for The Reader, apparently an authentic looking leaked document states that will be the case. Have you seen the film by the way.

As for Takumi I really don't think there is any comparison between him and Ricky Otto, Jean Okita and Junior Fung who all blew hot and cold at Coles Park and, in my opinion, never really gave their all. Takumi on the other hand was poetry in motion week in week out and I've seen him do things that players in the Premiership would be proud of. His turn of pace, agility and football brain were frightening yet Haringey Borough just took him for granted and didn't bat an eyelid when he wanted to leave for Hendon simply asking for the

Bit off the top but no I haven't seen the film and actually I don't really care if she wins an Oscar or not. To be honest I haven't seen any film with Kate Winslet in except for about 20 minutes of Heavenly Creatures...and yes that includes Titanic.

Lato - Which game were FoRM at today out of morbid curiosity

we were at a game that sadly was not a classic. Care to guess, it was comfortably within half an hours drive of Ruislip.

It finished 2-0 to the away side and was played on a very difficult playing surface with a very noticeable slope.

You were at Wingate & Finchley v Concord Rangers then, strangely enough that was on my short list so great minds think alike.

no we weren't. Actually that game was never even in our thoughts.

More clues..we saw a team currently second play a team near the bottom of the table and the home team are groundsharers.

A legend in the West Bank. We had a song for him.

Rhodesy - this was clearly the Hellenic League clash at Flackwell Heath, between tenants Marlow United and visitors Shortwood United. It was reported on Three Counties Radio that a spectator refused to lend his red baseball cap to the home goallie who was blinded by the sun shortly afterwards for the first goal!

correct Horace. rhodes I think you need to get a better dossier as you can't read the FoRM one like a book. (1..2..3..4..5...)

As regards the cap, well any goalkeeper worth his salt should always carry one in his kit bag and the home keeper should know the way the sun appears at his own ground! He could have actually done with a pair of better kicking boots too!!

Horace - In that case I wouldn't have had a clue as I didn't have all the results to hand last night in order to use Lato's 'clue' of a 2-0 away win, anyway I don't see why he couldn't have just told us what game he had been to when I asked instead of playing silly games.
