Hi andy.
The adverts that were in on Tuesday were all the ones that I have been given so far. I have since been emailed two more and they are in Saturday's programme.
As for the shirt sponsors, the page was in the programme and ready to put sponsors names on it as soon as I am informed there is any.

would like to see a player question and answer feature consistenly in the programs, eg, fave films, fave music,fave food, boyhood idols,fave teams,and questions bout last game or last months games or training for example, funniest moment,best save, best/fave performance. something along these lines!!

Excellent programme Steve. Very well put together and 'professional' looking. Also liked 'Program from the past' and the page of Alan Kay memories.

 

One small point: some of us sad statto geeks like to make note of the team changes, which was very difficult on Tuesday due to the gloss finish and coloured background. Would it be possible perhaps to publish the teams on an inside page with white space for our scribblings?

I am hoping for that and have asked Robin, but at the moment I don't want to pester him when he has his first games as manager on his mind. I do plan to alternate the article that Malcolm Rowlett did last night with ones from other board members and the management team.

The players have been handed the forms for these and I am just waiting for them to come back.

Unfortunately I an obsessive when it comes to having teams on the back page but I agree it is a bit hard to make changes. I can't sort it for the Slough game as that has already gone off to the printer but in future I may make the background whiter.

I am also still planning the '10 questions for...' featuring ex-players, fans etc but there is so much to go in the early programmes there is not room yet.

As i was not there last night, it may be that this is in there already; but by time of Chlmsford game, i think reserve season gets underway that day, so could opening fixtures be printed with maybe a half page from MW on the reserve squad and who may feature in the core reserve squad.

 

Maybe Tom Hickman could contribute a half page re: youth section and its aims aswell

Steve - updates on reserves and youth set up is a good idea. They can see evidence that they are part of a wider set-up and we all get to see who is up and coming within the ranks. We are in the FA Youth Cup this year so this could be an extra feature as and when we progress through the competition!

 

Hints on keeping a camel also would be useful!

I fully agree Abdullah but unless I get the information from anywhere there is nothing I can do. I have got the opening reserve fixtures and cup draw in tomorrows programme but would like squad details/match reports etc etc for reserves and youth. A couple of people said on here over the summer that they would provide me with this info and if that happens I will gladly include it.
