Attendances

Recommended Posts

I suspect from the published gates that we aren't applying the SSML management committee's edict to count veryone present at the game. Our 67 last night was paying spectators. on top of that we had maybe 30 other people - officials, injured/suspended players, sponsors and guest's etc. Even the Div 2 sides who don't take a gate are showing up to 50 people!

88 at Colney Heath last night, I thought it WAS counting everyone inc club officials and freebies.

Not bad, 78 at home and 88 away, higher then gates we had in the Ryman 2 on ave.

There ware a good 30+ from Edgware last night, I never knew we had so much away support thats the good thing about the games not being too far from home.

They are all decent enough crowds for midweek, though of course those clubs were playing thier first game of the season. Colney heath have to be happy with 88 for a midweek game. Going by that, the two highest OFFICIAL crowds have been our games

Who is currently top of the average attendance table, I assume this will be Edgware. I have to say that many of the attendances reported seem to be way off the mark and a lot of it would appear to be guesswork, Blues06 was doing my head in earlier about our attendance at Brimsdown last week and it did seem that there were a lot more there than the reported 30.

Go to this link to see the attendances. Harefield are top. Edgware's have doubled from 46 to 76. The ave crowds are pretty poor for step 5, but with so many clubsin and around the London area and with pro clubs around its not hard to see why

Only because you were talking nonsense again. You could very easily fit 30 people between the corner of the ground and the edge of the stand with their arms outstretched and they still wouldn't make physical contact with each other.

Potters Bar Town - Well as I said it did seem that there were a lot more than 30 present but it's not for me to query Brimsdown's figures.
